Welcome Bluegrass Village Vendors!

We are getting excited about our National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival^® 2008.  We are working hard to make it one of the best ever. Our vendors are an important and wonderful part of our event.  We want you to have an enjoyable time,  but we want to help you  have a profitable time as well, so that you will want to return year after year. We will be locating more of our activities in our Bluegrass Village venue this year in order  to provide a constant stream of visitors to the park.  Good crowds are important for the viability of our event and your business. 

 Our variety entertainment stage will be relocated from Memorial Park to the City Park/Bluegrass Village, and will feature variety entertainment Tuesday through Thursday.  The Weiser River Bluegrass Festival, featuring the Bluegrass Concert Series, will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 20 and 21. This should bring a constant stream of festival-goers to Bluegrass Village.

 We are working on some strategies to help draw more shoppers to your booths.  We will be providing emcees at our entertainment stage for much of the scheduled entertainment during the week. This will allow us to encourage everyone to visit the vendors’ booths and to let our attendees know about the wares you are offering, as well as announcing the performers and acknowledging our sponsors. That should be a very positive addition.
