Intermountain Community Bank, a division of Panhandle State Bank, opened its doors for business when a group of Business Professionals saw a need for a true community bank. The employees of the bank accepted this challenge and have continually shown the citizens in our towns what “Community” truly means. Besides being a full service bank, complete with a Home Loan Center and Trust & Investments Department, the bank has always been focused on reinvesting the community’s money back into the local economy.
The Powered by Community initiative further demonstrates the bank’s commitment to reinvesting in its community by giving of its time and resources. Last year, bank employees invested over 7240 hours to community activities and organizations.
ICB also gives back to its community through its “Legacy” programs. Each year a $500 scholarship is awarded to a high school senior to help further their education. In addition to the scholarships we have our Community Star and Community Match programs. In the Community Star program a member of the community is nominated and recognized as the “Community Star” for being an outstanding volunteer in the community. The recipient of this award chooses a non-profit they are passionate about and ICB donates $1,000 in the winner’s name. The final Legacy program is the Community Match program. Each year the bank allots a certain amount of money for each branch to do a fundraiser for an education or senior based program, then the bank matches the money raised up to $5,000.
Intermountain Community Bank is proud to partner with the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival. Our bank can only be as strong as our communities and the people who live in them. We will work to build a stronger, better community by pledging our support to initiatives powered by, and for, community.
